  Lack of Urgency, Poor Communication, and a Case Open Over a Year I had a very disappointing experience with Whitlock Law. My case has been open for over a year, with little progress to justify the amount of time it has taken. Throughout this period, communication was inconsistent, reactive, and frustrating. I often had to initiate contact myself just to receive basic status updates, sometimes after weeks or even months of silence. There was repeated confusion around key aspects of my case, including lost wages, medical treatment, insurance coverage, and settlement calculations—despite providing documentation multiple times. I was given preliminary settlement expectations that later changed without a clear or transparent explanation, which significantly eroded my trust in the firm. Rather than proactively coordinating with medical providers or clearly advising on next steps, responsibility was frequently shifted back to me, and progress only seemed to occur when I followed up repeatedly. When I raised concerns about ongoing pain, potential future treatment, and the low valuation of my case, the responses felt dismissive rather than strategic or supportive. Overall, the lack of urgency, prolonged timeline, poor follow-through, and minimal advocacy made an already stressful legal matter far more difficult than necessary. I would not recommend this firm to anyone who expects timely resolution, clear communication, or strong representation.
