My expectations with Next Level Law was from 10/2020 to 03/2022
As the responded to an order of protection from my son father I felt hopeless. I was being portrait as someone unstable and violent.
My initial contact was with rufus barner under Daniel Hernandez guidance. I was given a reasonable quote for the 2 cases that was going to be: responded to order of protection and parental allocation. since I didn't have the money at the time I showed up to court on my own. to my luck the judge combined both cases and therefore the quote change and was able to hire them. From day 1 the priority was My son's needs. they worked out a plan for the order of protection that benefited both myself and the other party. we worked out a plan and schedule for my son once the DNA confirmed the other party was the father. never felt judge or misrepresented by the firm. they made my feelings valid. in the end the order submitted and signed by judge was what I always wanted. thank you for all the work you did. after the whole case the other party and myself are in better terms and get along much better. we have worked out our differences. I still get emails every month or holiday from them which makes me feel good as a previous customers and i still have them saved incase I might need them in the future. Remember every case is different. Just because they didn't work for you doesn't mean they might work for others. In my case they were everything I was looking for.

I would recommend this law firm. They're very informative and have compassion for their clients. Gloria was such a beautiful soul. She is for the client and not for the bs. Gloria thank you so much for being honest and in my corner.

Dishonest. Untrustworthy. In clear violation of the ethical code that governs attorneys in the state of Illinois. Preying upon those most in need of help in a system awash with too many in need of help.
Do not hire this man or Mira, who he is meant to be supervising. They are just in it to nickel and dime you. Their pricing model is as dishonest as everything else about them.
Mira feigned concern for my circumstances when I told her I needed a restraining order (aka order of protection) against my abusive ex-boyfriend, and then she umasked immediately after I made my first payment for their services to reveal she is pro-abuser, a gaslighter, and incompetent in her misuse of her law degree.
She and Daniel directly lied me, again and again, ultimately destroying my chances for gaining legal protections in a life threatening situation that then exacerbated unchecked to the point I had to flee my home and file again, but the harm they did was so extensive that all I could do was try to get rid of him through the weight of the possibility of accountability for his ongoing abuses of me.
They botched the legal aspects of the case so extremely, and seemingly on purpose from their extensive pattern of misconduct, that I never could get any help from the court family courts that only pretends to offer protection to women in desperately dangerous situations like what I faced.
I waited to say anything because I don’t want to deal with these criminal attorneys any further, but this type of gross and intentional misconduct — lying and taking advantage of clients who are in bad situations already — needs to see the light of day anywhere possible. Otherwise, there is no accountability for them at all.

I strongly recommend looking at the negative reviews before considering this firm. My personal experience matches many of the same issues others have reported. The attorneys spent time drafting work that was never completed or provided, yet I was still billed for it. Promised documents were never delivered, and communication was extremely poor.
This firm appears more focused on billing than on serving the client’s best interests. Instead of reducing stress during a difficult time, they added to it. If you are seeking a law firm to genuinely advocate for you and your family, please review the many consistent complaints before making a decision

Going through a divorce is never easy but Mira was incredible to work with me. She guided me through every step of the process with her team. They always took the time to answer my questions and made sure I understood. I can thank them enough for their hard work and compassion. I would highly recommend Mira to anyone going through a difficult family matter.
