I had the best experience with the Gallup Auerbach firm. I felt that my case was always in the best hands, the entire firm was incredibly professional, patient, and understanding. The communication was outstanding. I always felt that I knew exactly what was happening but they also took the time to explain why as well. Mary, the legal assistant was absolutely stellar. Her email responses were lightning fast, her phone call responses were always same day, her customer service was second to none, and her knowledge was outstanding. Dana Gallup was brilliant as well. He is clearly a top expert in his field, was very kind and helpful, and consistently showed why I made the correct choice choosing the firm. If you read this and are debating using their firm, please know that you couldn’t possibly make a better choice.

Frequently Asked Questions About Gallup Auerbach

When is harassment illegal?

Contrary to popular belief, it is not illegal for a supervisor to harass an employee simply because he or she doesn’t like the employee’s work or doesn’t like the employee as an individual. Harassment is illegal only if it is based on some protected characteristic of the employee, such as his or her age, race, national origin, sex, religion or disability.

Can an employer retaliate against an employee who complains about harassment or discrimination in Florida?

Under both federal and Florida law, an employee who engages in the protected activity of complaining to the employer about sexual harassment or discrimination based upon protected characteristics (age, race, sex, and others) may not be retaliated against for making that complaint. Retaliation often may include reduction in hours, a poor performance evaluation, increased job duties, disciplinary actions, demotions, failure to receive promotions or termination of employment.
