I can’t thank Ryan Peterson enough for his incredible help throughout my DUI case in Colorado. From the very beginning, Ryan was thorough, respectful, and deeply informative. He took the time to walk me through every step of the process, ensuring I understood all my options and what to expect. Ryan was always available to answer any questions I had, and his patience was unmatched, especially considering I didn’t make the process easy on him! What really stood out to me was his ability to keep me calm and maintain a positive mindset during such a stressful time. He never made me feel like I was alone in this, and his comforting presence made a huge difference. In the end, Ryan got me results that far exceeded my expectations. I’m incredibly grateful for his professionalism, care, and expertise. If you’re looking for a reliable attorney who truly has your best interest at heart, Ryan is the one to go to!

Ryan single handedly restored my faith in attorneys after a catastrophic experience with a personal injury lawyer. My favorite parts of working with Ryan (there's so many) are his speed in responding via email and phone, wealth of knowledge regarding Bankruptcy, immediate answers or very quick updates when something unique is presented, simplifying a very stressful and emotional process, working remotely to ensure there were no delays when the Pandemic happened, and most of all just being kind. He treated me as a person and also did not beat around the bush. I would recommend Ryan Peterson to anyone I know and feel confident in saying that his integrity makes him the best candidate for a multitude of legal needs. The best!

Ryan handled a DUI case against my son, and got him a reduction in charges to reckless driving.. My son has a mental illness, and his illness sometimes interferes with his ability to clearly understand and analyze situations. Stress is also difficult for him to handle. Ryan was awesome in that he explained things in a clear and concise manner, was professional and empathetic. He did a great job for my son. I highly recommend him.

Ryan Peterson is well worth your time to consider if you are in need of a bankruptcy lawyer. Although he could not handle my case personally due to mistakes I made in my past, he was willing to consider it, and offered good, reasonable, and efficient advice on how to further handle my situation outside of his firm. He is kind, understanding, and speaks to you in a "real" manor, meaning, he explains the legal "mumbo-jumbo" that our law system in America so greatly enjoys using. If you need a lawyer, please consider using Ryan Peterson.

Frequently Asked Questions About The Law Office of Ryan Peterson, LLC

What should I do immediately after being arrested for a DUI or DWAI in Colorado?

It's crucial to contact a DUI defense attorney immediately following an arrest. You may need to request a DMV hearing within seven days to prevent automatic license suspension. This quick action is essential to protect your rights and driving privileges.

What is the difference between DUI and DWAI in Colorado?

In Colorado, a DUI involves driving with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 0.08% or higher. A DWAI, or driving while ability impaired, applies when a driver's BAC is between 0.05% and 0.08%. While both are serious, DWAI is considered less severe and carries lighter penalties than a DUI.
