  I cant say enough good things about Louis and his team. They have been such an integral part of all of our estate planning and our business activities. From setting up personal trusts, to helping us handle the estate after my mother in law passed away, all the way through helping with our business dealings. We have always been able to come to them with questions or concerns and they have always been so helpful with whatever we have needed. I always feel confident with their work and suggestions and always refer them when I can.

  I procrastinated getting a Trust done for some time, but utilized that time to do research on Estate Planning Lawyers. After researching extensively online, and eventually speaking with four attorneys on the phone, my instincts lead me to choose Mr. Pacella. Louis Pacella and his office staff are phenomenal, and a joy to work with. The office’s paralegal was extraordinarily knowledgeable and generous with his time answering all my preliminary questions. Louis, most certainly, proved to excel in his expertise, thoroughness, care and patience. I am a 50 year old, distrusting, type-A personality :) that digests every word of every page presented to me. Louis’ work is beyond comprehensive - IE: he leaves no stone unturned. I feel confident all my needs, and anyone who works with him, will be covered and my family will greatly benefit from his preparations after my passing. Louis was gracious in my request to customize certain sections, even though such customization was not necessary but rather just a quirk or desire I had in wording and/or instruction. He never made me feel like a “pain in the a**” but, instead, was kind and generous with his time. Included with the Trust was a Will (which refers to the Trust & really meant as a precaution and “back up” for the integrity of your intentions), Power of Attorney (In case I become incapacitated so my loved ones - not the gov’t or other - dictates actions), Health Directive, and more. I put my home in the Trust and Louis’ office took care of all the paperwork and filing with the County (also included in price). When all was done and finalized, Louis had an “Estate Planning Portfolio” delivered to me. The presentation of the final product was a bonus for me as it was more than just a “bundle of documents” that I was expecting. It was a hard cover binder with section tabs to better assist your Trustee, an explanation page for each section, a memory stick containing PDF files of all the pertinent documents for me to copy and give said copy to a loved one for safe keeping. I highly recommend Mr. Pacella to anyone that is looking to secure their assets, health care intentions, and avoid the headache and expense of probate for their loved ones. Excellent service and experience. I am very relieved and happy with my choice to work with Mr. Pacella. Oh - and yes, his price is the same as 99% of those I researched so I don’t feel like I “over-paid”. Anyway, this is one time you don’t want to try to cut costs. California laws change all the time and that makes “do it yourself” or low-ball quote options a dangerous prospect in my opinion. Yes, I looked into it but with all the different documents (Trust, Power of Attorney, Property Transfer, Health Directive, etc etc) “doing it myself” would have only saved me $260 - NOT worth the risk. Louis Pacella was worth every cent and I now have the piece of mind that no mistakes or oversights were made.

  I had an issue with my family trust and after calling a bunch of attorneys to help me deal with it, I finally found someone who knew how to handle it. Louis was EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgable. He did not try to nickel and dime me like all the others. He understood my situation and was very honest and compassionate on a personal level, yet very professional in his execution. It's hard to find an attorney like Louis. Thanks Louis!!
