    At first when I went to Jackie Brown about my situation trying to obtain custody of my son, everything was good. It changed when I had to give her my bank statements, shortly after that in my eyes, she became money hungry. True enough my case was postponed a couple of times, even when everything was all done besides going to court, she still wanted more money. I asked for a breakdown on what I’m paying for everyday she said she was working on my case, and I wasn’t provided the proper documentation. She basically wanted more money for work she wasn’t doing. The price went from $2500 to $4300 only because court was postponed. She didn’t put up a fight for me, even when my son’s mom said I do drugs and the judge asked for me to take a fingernail drug test, knowing I get DOT drug tested frequently.Maybe if I was a woman and she was representing me, it would’ve been better, or maybe more gender bias.

    Unfortunately, Mrs. Brown would not take my case and cited I am the one who did not want her representation... False! I will not go into details about my case, but I have to agree with one of the other reviewers who wrote - in my opinion, Mrs. Brown is truly out of touch with reality. I would also like to add that Mrs. Brown is a very judgemental person. I was happy Mrs. Brown decided she did not wish to represent me. I was elated when she returned the attorney fees paid to her. I wish she would have included my consultation fee as well. I must write I was fortunate to find an attorney to represent my case, and by the Grace of God, this attorney was very experienced and knowledgeable about family law. I received "most" of everything I asked for in the proceedings, and I am happy with the overall outcome of my case.
