  I've been an insurance agent with Bankers Life of West Allis since February 2021. At first, coming from a teaching background; whereas, I mainly dealt with children was terrifying. But it turned out to be one of the best moves I ever made. Sure, we work hard. But I find great comfort in knowing that we're all in it together. The training is comprehensive and easy to grasp and the leads are free and expansive but the people (colleagues) are simply awesome to work with. With all that’s been said, none is more important than the clients that we serve. Knowledgeable Agents + Competitive Insurance & Financial Products = Protected Communities. In the end, that’s what really counts.

  Ive been an agent with the company for 2 years now and love each and every day of it. Its not a job its a carrier i own my own business as an agent. Our products are awesome and it makes me happy being able to help my clients not just with Life insurance but investments, long term care and health insurance. Every time i leave a client’s house i know they are in a better position than before i walked in their house.

  Terrible company to receive benefits from or try to get employment. I have been to many entry level sales jobs but this place takes the cake! Branch manager was rude, the entire concept is based on the pyramid scheme (believe me I investigated them all). Get rich quick with crazy commission amounts and throw down $300 to get licensed in Wisconsin. I have gone to three other health/insurance companies for interviews and they ask the same, however you sell to all age groups not seniors only. It was a joke being in a room with people who had no idea what this guy was trying to say just to get info that could have been emailed by the recruiter Lisa...easy way to weed out the people who are not interested. I only have one star because the receptionist Cindy was so nice when I arrived. Please take your important retirement issues to a place that really knows what they are doing. Unorganization was written all over Bankers Life. If you are looking for a career change or job get ready to be at the bottom of the ladder because that's what it is...you will only climb as high as they allow and it is histarical that they mention reasons why they are not based on the pyramid scheme. If they truly didn't operate that way there would be no need to address it. Save your time, money, future, and you will see. P.S. The presenter was late to the meeting pushing back the entire process by over thirty minutes! As I said not the smartest group/business here.😒
