AS of 12/2025 this company has not been able to connect adult protective services with Andrea and the case is still open a year later. Andrea Paine came to visit a facility I manage, on this visit she parked off site where staff could not see her arrival or departure. She did not sign the visitor's log or wait for staff to take her to the see the vulnerable adult. Staff were updated by another person who resides in the home that a visitor was in the closed bedroom with vulnerable adult. I and another staff member went into the closed bedroom to find out what was going on. Andrea stated she knew said person and has visited before. I asked Andrea if she had contacted the POA due to the vulnerable adult unable to make decisions on her own? She stated her and the POA will meet the first of the year and they keep missing each other, so I stated " You haven't made contact for permission?" she said she was reminded today was the last day to bring paperwork to the vulnerable adult. I asked my Co-worker to contact POA about what was going on, I asked Andrea for her card which she DID NOT have and said she could run back to work and get it. It was a very odd situation and the vulnerable adult was laying in bed and Andrea was in a chair across the room and they both talked in the dark. Andrea has been to this location before to see the same person and the POA let her know at that time neither was interested in these services and the banking information given was not to be used as vulnerable adult can't make financial decisions. The phone number given to me by andrea isn't the same number listed on the Bankers Life website either.

To whom it may concern, This review is for Rachel Reynolds who works for Bankers’ Life in their University Place, WA office. In early January of this year I contacted my Medicare agent in this same office, letting her know I no longer needed my supplemental plan and asked her what steps I needed to take to cancel it. I did exactly what she said and 2 weeks later, having heard nothing back, I tried to contact her, (phone call, voice mail, email and texting) to get an update. I heard nothing back for days. After trying again, in all the above mentioned ways, and to no avail again, I called the office in frustration and spoke to Rachel Reynolds. What a breath of fresh air! Professionalism, knowledge, politeness, thoroughness and understanding are just some of the wonderful attributes she displayed during our initial and subsequent conversations. She thoroughly explained what I needed to do and why. This was now becoming a time sensitive issue, because weeks had passed and the end of the month was rapidly approaching. *Side note - I live on a fixed income and the premium, that would have been deducted from my checking account, would have created a hardship for me*. Rachel went the extra mile several times to rectify the issue, keep me abreast of the situation, and stay on top of things. Thankfully, because of her diligent efforts, all ended well. I cannot thank her enough! This young lady, young to me as I am in my 70s, is a gem and a prime example of excellent customer service, knowledge of protocol, professionalism and kindness. Kindness is sometimes rare in financial institutions, not in her case. If this exemplary employee is ever offered a raise, promotion, or bonus I highly recommended she get it. Sincerely, Nadine Bauer

I have left several messages about inaccuracies in my health insurance policy and gotten no response. This is a serious issue. If you want someone who will be responsive to your problems, use another agency. These people only want the commission from your premium.

Very poor customer service. After paying for over 14 years, Mother is dying, and in need of her long term care insurance. First, they moved office with no notification. When I did find them, stood in lobby while receptionest was in back cubical giggling with "friend". When I finally got "noticed"...was told to CALL THE OFFICE IN INDIANIA! My parents wanted to get long term care for both of them, but agent messed up......by waiting.....he let my Dad's 80th birthday go by (they started the process well before just did not turn in the papers) so HE did not qualify....turned out to be ok, as father passed away 9 years later and we cared for him at home. But THEY lost $$ payments for 9 years. Not good follow thorough or checking up to see if updates are desired or needed. I just find them VERY unprofessional both in agents and reception.....it has been a week since I submitted a claim, and have not been contacted by anyone at the INDIANIA office either. I would suggest doing a little research before buying policies from Bankers Life.
