  I am writing to express my concerns regarding my insurance and compensation following a car accident I experienced a few years ago AND recently. Despite having filed a claim, I was never properly compensated for the damages and expenses incurred medically. Currently, WE ALL have been asked to pay $200 for insurance. As a single parent living on a limited income at the time, with no child support from my ex-husband, this amount IS simply unaffordable. I rely on food stamps and other public assistance, and the current premium represents a significant portion of my monthly expenses — nearly half of my car payment — which makes it impossible for we the people to maintain both insurance and basic necessities for our families . During the accident, the other driver was going slowly and did not provide his insurance or driver’s license information. There was also no visible speed limit sign at the location. I had to wait an hour for emergency responders despite being sleep-deprived and caring for my daughter. I then attended a medical appointment to ensure her safety and well-being. This situation caused significant additional stress. Insurance should be affordable and accessible to all AmericanS AND we should be reimbursed and compensated. The financial and emotional strain caused by these circumstances has been extreme. I respectfully request that GEICO review my case and provide fair compensation for my accident, as well as reconsider the affordability of OUR current premium given OUR financial and personal circumstances as AMERICANS.   Spoke with an Agent name Melissa. Super friendly gal! Attentative, and got me a great rate on my insurance policy! I'm happy to have a local office I can visit close to my house if there is ever an issue! Thanks for your help guys :-)
