Bracing for the likelihood that we’ll have to fight tooth and nail to be made whole. We all know what it’s like when a company *can* do more for you in a nuanced situation, but chooses not to. I have long haul covid and was scared that my brain fog would be taken advantage of if I didn’t advocate for myself well - that they would do the bare minimum and leave me to do all the problem solving. I am so grateful for Diana and her team who lead with humanity, were able and willing to see and work with the nuances of my situation, and in doing that, helped me recover nearly $3,000 worth of belongings that were stolen. Not only did they make it as easy as possible to go through the motions, they were kind; patient and understanding and helped me conserve energy with this disability.
