David Peterson and team have been taking care of our TX needs for about 1.5yrs now. We moved from Idaho where we have been with State Farm for a long time. David’s team members have generally been crisp and quick to address issues.
Today, Rob Kendrick from his team really went above and beyond with a couple of disparate insurance needs I had. First, a rental property and then, a car quote. Rob really dug deep into the issue, discussed with team mates, even went up to Underwriting and Commercial to try to understand all the issues before giving me the right info. Then, despite his busy afternoon, he helped me with an urgent auto quote update so I could take care of a car purchase by weekend.
Rob is a detail oriented get-things-done guy and a do-things-right guy. I’m really happy to have met him today both as a concerned person and an insurance professional!!

My experience with David Peterson State Farm was a total nightmare. There were at least four separate times that I called to inquire about something. When the ladies answered my call and realized it wouldn't result in a sale for them, they would pretend the line went dead and hang up on me
Then I called to get non-owner's insurance on my sister’s car and remove my brother’s car while I was waiting for a new vehicle to be built. When I asked to be sent proof of insurance, Chloe told me that everything was good and I would be sent a document.
One month later, I was still being charged for the car I cancelled, and I never received proof of insurance for my sister’s car. Chloe refunded my money but didn't apologize. I called 3 times, asking for proof, and always got the runaround. I told them the app wasn't showing I had insurance, and they said the app was having issues. I was told all three times that I would receive proof of insurance the following day or business day, but that never happened. I would have respected it if they just told me that they couldn't give me non-owner's insurance.
Fast forward a month later and my new car arrives at the dealership. Of course, I need proof of insurance to take delivery. The saleslady called them to get proof and was told Chloe would call back. Of course, she never did. The saleslady recommended another State Farm agent. They told me I didn't have insurance and assisted me in getting some. It was highly embarrassing trying to buy a new luxury car with no insurance. I was very upset because I could have gotten a ticket or even worse, hit someone and been sued for damages due to not having insurance.
While I wouldn't recommend this agent, I did have good experiences with LJ Lowery and Elvis.

Valerie Church did an excellent job explaining my coverage options and helping me choose what truly fit my needs. She was very professional and extremely patient in answering all my questions. I had been with my previous home insurance provider for two years, and they significantly increased my premium at renewal despite having no claims and living in a new home. Valerie made the entire process easy and transparent, and I really appreciated her guidance. Highly recommend working with her.
