- GOGary OgleOct 21, 20251.0We changed our property insurance and auto insurance to Huestis in 2024 and we were pleased with the quote from Aviva that they provided. One year later, we received a renewal notice for our home policy and the annual price increased by over 83%! After filing a complaint, Western Financial who now owns Huestis called me with the same sorry story blaming it on extreme weather and so on, but refused to answer why it was an 83% increase when the National average rate of premium increase from 2024 to 2025 was a mere fraction of that. As a broker, they don't really care about keeping you as a customer , and I'm shocked that they can't (or won't) look for a truthful answer to a customer's simple question. Be forewarned - stay away from Huestis Insurance!
