We finally had the opportunity to sit down together and have that conversation no one really wants to have ... what will happen if one of were to die. We found a policy that we could afford for the each of us and we all felt better after the fact. We had done something responsible. We protected each other. Sadly the day came that we actually needed to use one policy. Our agent walked us thru the claim process and delievered the death claim personally. I was very thankful that our agent was there in the beginning and when we needed him. We still have our policies and when the day comes again, I know I will be treated with care and respect. I would not hesitate to refer Bankers Life to my friends and family ... in fact I do it all the time!

When ever I attempt to contact her agent, all I ever get is voice mail. He has been abysmal in returning my calls and after almost 5 weeks, I still do not know the status of her claim. Bills are starting to mount. Cannot say I have been please with their service.
