- MAMohammed AliJun 12, 20251.0My experience with TD Insurance has been beyond disappointing. My vehicle was stolen in January and recovered shortly after. I requested multiple times for the repairs to be done in Ottawa, where I live, but TD completely ignored that and forced the repairs to be done in Mississauga—over 400 km away. It took nearly three months to get my vehicle back, and even then, the car was not fully repaired. I was forced to travel from Ottawa to Mississauga to retrieve the vehicle at my own expense, and although I submitted receipts for reimbursement, I have received no response to date. Since then, I’ve been stuck in a never-ending loop of vague emails, empty promises, and so-called “escalations” to managers who never reply. I’ve called my adjuster multiple times, but his voicemail is full and I can’t even leave a message. Now I’m being told to send the car again to Mississauga to finish the repairs—adding 1,000 km to my leased vehicle, which is costing me hundreds of dollars, when this entire issue could have been avoided if TD just listened to my original request.
- VMV MMay 27, 20251.0Extremely unresponsive and unprofessional company. I had a collision with a deer. Little bends in the drivers side doors. Fortunately, the deer ran away, and no one was hurt. Brought my car to the center, and the person that was checking my car had some weird questions like "Why didn't deer run around your car?" I have two an answer, actually. Next time I'll catch the deer and will take an interview. Eventually, they decided that the claim is inconclusive. So I'll wait until my policy term will end will leave the company for good.
