- SGShiloh GernerJan 22, 20251.0My wife got a marketplace plan through Sean Toneatti two years ago. Recently, insurance was available through our workplace, so she initiated the process to cancel her marketplace plan. A couple weeks later, in the new year, she was charged for said plan. When she contacted marketplace and the insurance company, they both said she had to go through her broker to get a refund. We have been attempting to make contact with Sean for nearly a month now. She has sent him at least five emails and we have both called multiple times, leaving voicemails and texts. She has not received a refund or an explanation as to why she was charged for the insurance that she requested to cancel. He has made no attempt to contact us or try to remedy anything. I do not recommend going through Sean as an insurance broker. Not answering/returning multiple emails and calls is unacceptable.
