  Got hit in a parking lot. Called my local agent to report the accident and he told me to go get an estimate and see if it was over my deductable of $500.00 and then call them back with the estimate. I tried to get an estimate but the garage refused to give one to me stating they needed the insurance estimate first. Called my local agent back, the times and they kept telling me to go get an estimate! Two different agents telling me to go get my own estimate when I pay for insurance! Finally called the 800 number just to be told I was to turn it into my insurance and get the estimate from the insurance company first. Too bad the local agents don't know this!! So, I made my claim online and went to my local agent and had him upload a ton of pictures. This is NOT my job. When I pay for a service, I expect the service. By the way, my deductable was 100.00, not 500.00. The local agents need to do their job and they need to know what their job is! When someone calls and says they've had an accident, don't tell them to go get an estimate and let them know if it's over the deductable! Very satisfied with the 800 number agent, not so much with my local agent.
