  Took my car in a few months ago for a ding on rear quarter panel, and today while washing the car I noticed some scratches that weren’t there before. If you have a claim with TD, DO NOT get the repairs done with them! Take your car to a reputable shop.( see pic where it seems they almost used a crowbar to remove the window and didn’t even attempt to hide their mess, and the paint is poorly applied in other spots). I wish I had inspected the car more carefully when I picked it up. I will drop in the week and see if they will offer to rectify their shoddy work and update this review. Update: Took the car in and someone in the shop looked over the shoddy work and agreed that it was subpar and blamed it on an apprentice. He said they would be in touch but I haven’t heard from them since. Will update again later.

  My car was damaged by hit and run at the parking lot. They appointed an engineer to inspect it and falsely claim that it was not a hit and run case. TD insurance is such a scam. Stay away. They will make so many excuses to not give you a claim.

  Unorganized and unreliable. This company will callously leave you stranded in a pinch, or in the event of a claim. I just paid an additional 280 anually for a new premium with an old broker who will answer the phone. Wasnt worth trying to save a buck here.

  I would not recommend td insurance to anyone, I recently put in a auto claim and the Monday after I talked to a Rep and she had said there was a flag on the account because I just started a new policy, and after explaining I just had moved across the country and I had to cancel my policy in the other province to start a new policy in Nova Scotia, she then said oh that shouldn't be a problem. Lone and behold two weeks later and 4 days before my car is scheduled to go in for body work they stated an investigation and recommend that I hold off on bringing the car in for work until they finish the investigation. So I called the autobody shop to see how much they quoted for the work and to see if they could put the work off for a week, and the autobody shop was baffled that they haven't even contacted as their usually the first ones informed about an investigation. So I understand them doing their job and investigating but they had a flag on the account two weeks ago... Personally find this to be the worst customer service I have experienced, not only they took two weeks to finally do their job they never even contacted the autobody shop. And not to mention the few conversations I had this week I had the impression they didn't even at all... STAY AWAY FROM TD AUTO INSURANCE!!!
