- POPhil OrtegaSep 27, 20231.0If I could give less than one star I would. I purchased a Whole Life Policy from Bankers Life 8 years ago. One of the representatives came to my house with so many promises and lies, if you need anything Mr. Ortega, please don’t hesitate to call. This the first of many lies. I called to speak to my agent several times to no avail only to find out after a couple of months she was no longer working there. (Horrible customer service). I paid without fail for eight years, suddenly I received a call from yet another representative wanting to meet with me regarding changes to my policy. At the meeting I asked her if I could receive the cash value I had accumulated and she said, of course. Today I received another call from the same person stating if I receive the cash value, the policy would become void. We’ll needless to say I’m furious with this so called reputable company. Think twice before doing business with Banker’s Life. Go to Woodman of the World they are a MUCH better company.
