- RRRobertDec 16, 20251.0I had Allstate homeowners 22 years. I just paid off my mortgage and assumed I had money in escrow. I also assumed AS would begin to bill me my insurance bills. After three months AS sent me a letter stating I owed over 3K and my insurance would be terminated in two weeks if I didn't pay. It also said my insurance was still being billed to a third party. Paying off a mortgage is new to me so I guess I shouldn't have assumed anything. But all I recieved from AS was the threat of canceling my insurance. I will be dropping AS asap.
