All of the negative stereotypes of this industry came true in my recent claim experience. Don't get a policy with them unless you are prepared to hire a lawyer to enforce the rights your policy entitles you to.

I didn’t understand that if you don’t paid one time a year and break it down into monthly payments you get charged 2.00 month. The women on the phone stated well you been paying it this way for over a year. Well I lost my husband less then a year ago I’m still learning. Also when I asked about how to do this mandatory inspection using the app I was treated very rude. Looks like a change will be taking place soon.

If i hadnt tracked down the adjuster nothing would have happened to process the claim. Then she delayed processing saying couldnt find my policy which I've had and religiously paid for over 20 years. The claim is still not processed going on a month now since they applied the wrong deductible. It is only $600, not $1000. How could you have my name and address and not be able to find the policy ??? Which finding the policy is evidently meaningless since you can't read it and see the correct deductible. This process was stressful. Selective should be ashamed. You need to hire better people.
