- JEJeremy ElwellOct 29, 20221.0I insured my home with Allstate. It was broken in to last year. There was a lot of damage to the window's of the house and trim. I had a lot of belongings stolen 10s of thousands of dollars worth. It's been over a year Allstate has not paid to fix my home or replace anything that was stolen. They never even sent an adjuster out to see the house or damage. My experience with Allstate has been terrible . Buying a policy through Allstate has been a lot like not even having insurance, with the exception of paying the insurance bill. Allstate doesn't follow through on their end of the policy's . I would not recommend insuring through Allstate, better off with no insurance as it amounts to about the same thing.
