Called them for an auto insurance quote and they told me $88 monthly and $45 membership fee to get started, I called back a few days later to confirm the price and that I would be calling the next Tuesday to pay and start coverage and they quoted me again the $88 a month and $45 membership fee as they said they had the rate stored in the computer. On the Tuesday I called to pay and start coverage they had me pay the $45 membership fee first which I did and after that they ended up telling me the monthly rate was now $120 and that I would need to pay that to get started. I declined and told them that was not the previous quoted price. They had their reasons and “discounts” but I was just trying to get car insurance, not 3 insurances I don’t need and pay so much more than quoted. When I asked for a refund of the membership fee they told me they couldn’t give it to me and that I had to dispute it with my bank if I wanted my money back, which I ended up having to do. Someone needs to get organized and give a person the real quote the first time, not after you’ve charged their card
