Before becoming a licensed insurance broker with HealthMarkets, my career was rooted in service — and it's something that continues to define everything I do. I spent several years working as a restaurant manager, where I learned the importance of leadership, communication, and creating positive experiences for every person who walked through the door. That fast-paced environment taught me how to stay organized, problem-solve quickly, and lead with empathy. I later transitioned into the healthcare field, working as a dental assistant, where I supported patients through their treatments with compassion and care. This hands-on experience deepened my understanding of the healthcare system and the importance of clear, accessible patient support. I also worked as a care aide for the elderly, providing daily assistance and emotional support to seniors — a role that was both humbling and incredibly rewarding. It reminded me how vital trust and personal connection are, especially when someone is in a vulnerable stage of life. These experiences shaped my approach to helping people today.
