- WTWilliam TruaxOct 12, 20211.0After my mother died dealing with the claims department was a nightmare. First contact the lady I spoke with put in the wrong street and email address for me that set the process back a month. Then several times I was told they were waiting for paperwork from her doctors after 3 weeks I called the doctor and was told no requests for paperwork were made. I was repeatedly told I would be contacted by management within 24 hours but had to keep calling over and over to talk to someone who could "help". One agent told me I should get the full claim amount. Long story short after doing their job for them the claim was denied. I was told I could appeal, I would definitely have to increase my life insurance if I were to do so. This was a horrible experience Marlin Perkins would be ashamed. If I could give less than one star I would.
