  State Farm is incredible until you actually need to file a claim with them. We've had nothing but great service with them for 15 years, give or take. We not only had our homeowners insurance but all of our vehicles insured with them. We have been loyal and sent many customers their way due to how great they were to us. Unfortunately for the first time ever, we have had to make a claim...our house unexpectedly flooded right before Christmas. There was extensive damage (per the many professionals we've had in our house telling us so), despite us being up for over 24 hours trying desperately to mitigate the damage (shop vacing, cleaning, no water running at all to our house for weeks, etc). Now they are essentially calling us and the professionals liars and not wanting to fix the problems. So just BEWARE, they are great if you NEVER need them. But then...what are you paying insurance for??? (I guess to pay for those nice commercials they have everywhere). I'll be contacting our local congressman to start advocating for reform and new laws to be put into place, right after I contact my lawyer...But I wanted others to be aware before they threw away years of wasted money with this company and found themselves in the same position as us. Shop around. Its bad enough going through what we are already going through (living in squalor, having our house ripped apart with us left to live in it, possible health hazards, etc) to then also have an agent who not only does not care and is dragging their feet, but then also fighting against helping us at every turn...even to the point of putting my family at risk in the future due to the corners they want to cut. The adjuster who was assigned to us, BTW, doesn't even live in our state...he lives in Georgia and is making the decisions...or lack there of, about our home....how does that even work??! You've been warned. Find a small local company that cares. One that when you need them, they will actually help you and not make your situation worse.

  Brandon is always fabulous to deal with. He is informative, listens to our needs and gets us a great quote everytime! We have purchased both home and auto policies through him with ease. He’s quick to respond to any questions we have. He goes above and beyond to get us what we need when we need it. We are happy to be back at State Farm.
