When I went to the DMV, my license plates were changed to Illinois, but unfortunately no one informed me that I also needed to transfer my auto insurance from Colorado to Illinois. As a result, I drove for almost a year with Illinois plates while my insurance was still registered in another state. When I later went to the DMV to renew my registration sticker, I was told that my vehicle registration had been suspended because Illinois did not show any active insurance on file. Even though I was insured, the policy was from another state, so I was considered uninsured in Illinois. That’s when I found this State Farm office, and I couldn’t be more grateful. They took the time to clearly explain why this situation happened, answered all of my questions in a professional and respectful way, and helped me quickly transfer my insurance to Illinois. They didn’t just process paperwork — they genuinely cared about resolving the issue. This office truly looks out for their customers and provides professional, knowledgeable, and reliable service.
