We bought an injury policy for personal injury and we also bought life insurance for ourselves and our children. My husband was injured in March they told us to wait 30 days until we could file for the disability payments so that it was in our income bracket. I paid every month for almost a year and then in March my husband was injured now it is July and after sending everything that they've asked for we still have not been paid out, we have spent our entire savings on all of our bills and now it's looking like we are going to have to sell what little assets we have just to keep a roof over our head while still paying their premiums. I have never heard of an insurance company taking so long to pay out when he is clearly injured with every form of document you can think of doctors MRI statement saying he can't work you name it we sent it . They say they're still going through the paperwork almost 6 months later. I could read through that paperwork in one day. I know because I'm the one who gathered up all the paperwork and it only took me about 2 days wall taking care of kids who are home for the summer managing a household and working myself they're only job is to do these claims yeah we can't get it finished we can't even get a single month's payout
