    I have worked in good faith by phone and email for 2 months to resolve a simple billing issue due to Dave’s agent Xiomara applying uninsured motorist coverage to my umbrella policy when it was not elected for my auto. According to his manager, Lexie, this discrepancy is not legally permitted - the umbrella policy should never have included uninsured. Underwriting has issued me only a partial refund of the approximate $500 overcharge despite the error being entirely State Farm’s fault. It’s not reasonable for policy holders to shoulder the financial cost of State Farm’s mistake - an illegal one at that. I’ve had to initiate follow up with Xiomara and Lexie throughout this process for updates. With this lack of attention and follow through on a straightforward request, I can only imagine what type of service a policy holder would receive if they had a claim. Note that nowhere on his webiste is the contact information for Dave Snell himself so you are not able to reach him directly. I made one last attempt to contact Dave today to resolve what his agents can’t handle. If this is not resolved by the end of the week, I have no recourse but to contact the insurance commission. ETA: They’re finally working on it. However their response regarding “multiple attempts without success” is performative for the public and disingenuous. I’ve promptly returned all calls & emails. Customers beware - this is the 2nd lie I’ve encountered this week as they try to CYA. I don’t appreciate the dishonesty. A test of a person’s character is how they behave when things go wrong and they’re failing.
