Shockingly bad customer service. I've had geico auto policy for several years and due to a clerical mixup on their end geico auto-canceled my policy. I've been trying to reach their corporate office for over a week to restart the policy. The hold times are endless. I called this agency this morning hoping a local resource would be faster and more accessible. The woman who answered the phone acknowledged my problem with apathy and said she would get someone to help. She then immediately transferred me to the same corporate line that no one ever answers.
I'm trying to give geico and this insurance agent money and they're too incompetent to accept it. Truly astounding. Get your insurance anywhere else.

I compared prices on auto insurance and the rates are really good! It's a reputable company...and many people in my park recommended it! After reviewing my coverage....uninsured motorist was left off...this raises the amount you pay! Check your coverage before you leave the store!

Bait and switch. GEICO offered me a lowball rate online, then when I went to sign up, suddenly all these other things increased my rates. I selected uninsured motorist coverage online, but I was told it was not selected when they quoted me, and they had to add a couple hundred more dollars. Additionally, I was penalized for glass claims which are free in the state of Florida. So basically, they offer you a low rate, they come up with a bunch of excuses to double the rate and it turns out it’s actually more expensive than my insurance. I’m just glad I found out before I signed up… seems like they really need to get it together here at GEICO.
