Sonali was amazing in helping me with a last-minute vehicle insurance purchase late in the day. She stayed past closing and even called me back a few times to make sure everything was sorted out properly. I really appreciated her patience and dedication. I also want to give a shout-out to Greg, the manager, and to Sharlene — they’ve both been exceptional as well. The service I get from all of the staff at the Oak Bay Branch is always exceptional. They are extremely knowledgeable, always ensuring I have the best coverage at the most economical price. I highly recommend that you check them out for all of your insurance needs, whether it is car, house or travel - they will do their best for you!!

About 3 weeks ago I bought my friend's car, they brought it over from the Mainland, we miss-timed things and business hours, so I took them back to catch the ferry and they left all the signed paperwork for me to go in to do the transfer the next day at the Oak Bay location....however one signature got missed (totally our fault). So the lady tells me, my friend has to come back over on the ferry to sign the paper (uh no, there has to be a better option). I asked if my friend could sign the paperwork at a branch in Langley and they could verify it and put the paperwork through. I'm told, no, it has to be an original signature. Could they courier it from one branch to another? Yes! Great, let's do that. Should be here by the next day, right? 3 days later it's still not here, so I ask what the holdup is? Turns out this one paper is coming by "internal courier" which only gets picked up maybe once a week, has to go to head office first, and now we're at the long weekend, so no one is in the building, even if I went to pick it up. We could have sent it by snail mail and it would have gotten here faster. The mustachioed manager(?) now attempts to mansplain to me that it's my fault, that I don't understand how it works. It's 2025, I just bought a house and all the documents were signed over Docusign , ALSO since when is it considered acceptable customer service for a document to take 2.5 weeks to get to Victoria from the Mainland. That is not a courier service, that's internal mail and that was totally unacceptable. I have never been more angry. Do better.
