- CLCathy LassmanMar 15, 20221.0Was told over the phone that I had to come in and pay $18 for a copy of a previous insurance policy from 2020 car insurance. Easily spent that much in gas going there, only to find out that last year’s policy is stored in a storage facility in Vancouver and it’s not available. Two other insurance companies told me they don’t charge, and they can pull their documents as they have to be kept on file for 7 years. I will no longer be renewing any further insurance through Westland Insurance at Coast Capital on Aulds Rd in Nanaimo.
