  The London drugs insurance agent at Lougheed mall did my car insurance and everything went okay unit my bank called me to tell me that ICBC car insurance withdrawal was rejected. I gave the insurance agent a VOID cheque and he had imputed one of the cheque numbers wrong. Instead of the number “1” he had imputed a “ - “ The weird thing is the insurance agent made sure he was punching in the right numbers by repeating them out loud back to me. After all this I cannot believe someone would punch in one number wrong unless it was done on purpose. I had to call ICBC 4 times to rectify this problem as well as email the ICBC payment department 4 times. The total time wasted for me was over 2.5 hours. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO LONDON DRUGS INSURANCE AGAIN. EVERYONE ELSE STAY AWAY!

  Lady in dark curly hair was very rude and unprofessional. We went in 15 minutes before closing time to get a marriage license and she said it’s too late and refused to help us. Which is understandable, so we asked which IDs to bring next time so we come prepared. She said we have to bring our Birth Certificates, and I said I don’t have a Birth Certificate I only have a Citizenship card, Canadian passport and Driver’s license. She said, “You don’t have a birth certificate? Everybody has a birth certificate. You need the birth certificate”. I tried to explain to her that on the B.C. official website it listed a few different options as primary IDs and she in the end pulled up her email which clearly stated “birth certificate, passport, PR card, driver’s licence/BC services card” are all ID options. She clearly was wrong but insisted on what she wanted. Such an upsetting and disappointing encounter, to be discriminated against for “not having a birth certificate”.

  It’s really good that London drugs expanded their insurance department it’s big no line up and very quickly done.

  I had an issue with the cancellation of my car insurance while I was outside of Canada, and Ms. Azadeh went above and beyond to help me resolve it quickly and smoothly.   I spent two hours trying to insure my truck which was purchased out of province. The guy doing my paper work had no idea what he was doing, called ICBC twice, then told me he could not insure my truck unless I got a document signed by a lawyer saying that I was the owner. This seemed unusual so I called ICBC personally and they said that was not necessary. So I informed him that’s what ICBC said, then he lost his temper on me because I wasn’t doing what he told me to do. And said that it was my fault for not following the instructions that he gave me(which were incorrect and would have cost me lots of money, in lost wages and legal fees) and then refused to help me. The next day I tried maxam insurance brokers and they had the truck insured in 15 minuets, lawyers necessary. I would recommend using a different insurance broker than this one. They cost me several hundred dollars in lost wages and potentially more in legal fees if I had followed their instructions.
