Had renters insurance for multiple years. No issues or claims. Went to add homeowners insurance and two cars. The quoted price I was given (two different times) seemed like a good deal so I went ahead with canceling existing policies.
Then when the day came to move over, the price offered was over $50 more per month. The explanation was the order in which the autos were brought over.
(1) Never did they mention that the order of when the autos were switched would have any bearing on the price and (2) it doesn't even make sense because in the end its the same two cars.
I gave them the chance to match the quoted price they gave me, which they refused to do. So beware of bait and switch tactics. My rep was Jerry.
