    Complaint Against Allstate Insurance Date of Initial Policy Purchase: July 15, 2025 I am filing this complaint due to an ongoing and extremely frustrating experience with Allstate Insurance, involving both my auto and homeowners insurance policies. Since purchasing both policies on July 15, 2025, I have been subjected to constant miscommunication, lack of follow-up, and outright negligence. After my policies were issued, an Allstate representative came to take pictures of my home. At no point was I informed of the results of this inspection. I received no follow-up communication—no phone call, no email, no physical mail. I only discovered there was a problem when I proactively called Allstate on August 13, 2025 to check on the status of my policies. I spoke with an agent named Evelyn, who informed me (for the first time) that I needed to cut a tree on my property. Evelyn then sent me an email and asked me to submit updated pictures, which I did on August 15, 2025. Shortly after that, I received three pieces of mail from Allstate: 1. A notice of premium increase for my auto policy. 2. A cancellation notice for my homeowners insurance. 3. A refund check for the homeowners policy. At this point, I was understandably furious. I immediately contacted customer service and was met with more confusion. No one could explain why my homeowners policy was canceled, despite the fact that I had submitted the requested photos. Several agents admitted they could see the pictures but still had no idea why the policy was terminated. Eventually, I was transferred back to my original agent—the one who initially wrote the policy. She assured me that the homeowners policy would be reinstated and everything corrected. To my understanding, that part has been resolved. However, my auto policy remains incorrect. The premium was increased due to an error on Allstate’s part, and I have been trying to get it fixed for weeks. I’ve sent multiple emails, including one to Jerry Porter, who has yet to respond. When I call customer service, I get transferred between agents, none of whom seem willing or able to escalate the issue to a manager. As I write this complaint, I am literally on hold again with an agent who just told me she can’t get a manager on the line. This entire process has been unacceptable, time-consuming, and completely unprofessional. I feel like I’m being given the runaround, ignored, and disrespected as a paying customer. Allstate has failed in its duty to provide transparent communication, fair service, and timely resolution. I’m requesting: • Immediate correction of my auto insurance premium to reflect the accurate rate. • A formal written explanation regarding the mishandling of my homeowners policy. • An apology for the lack of communication and customer service. • Accountability for the agents and managers involved in this case. Allstate claims “you’re in good hands,” but this experience has been the exact opposite. I hope the BBB can assist in resolving this matter.
