- GDGerecka DowellOct 26, 20203.0Allstate was an okay company to have auto insurance with. I cancelled for cheaper insurance through someone else. I was confused as to why my policy stated a certain amount due and called Delores to cancel and question that. Delores stated I had already been cancelled and refused to explain why and just insisted on telling me I haven’t paid in two months when I had indeed paid. I tried to send screenshots of bank statements and she stated I have already explained this to you, very rudely and stated the payments didn’t go thru. She didn’t care to hear anything I said nor did she care to explain anything further. I checked the Allstate app after getting off the phone with Delores and the amount owed MYSTERIOUSLY changed and it finally showed the policy was cancelled on the date I called, not before. I’ll give this Allstate three stars because aside from dealing with unprofessional staff, the insurance was good and I did however speak with Alice, whom was sweet and went over everything with me. Although no one cared to acknowledge Delores wrongs, Alice had a much better attitude and was much more professional.
