  I’m writing this quick note to let you know that an agent for you, Anna-Lee Hulse, was amazing in aiding with my previous policy. Her kindness cannot go without mentioning, which I feel is lacking today. I can tell you her professionalism in taking care of myself was above reproach. I honestly felt that being a previous customer gathering old documentation was going to be at best lengthy and haphazard, boy was I mistaken! Anna was “Johnny on the spot”, not just once but twice in the past two days as I’m dealing with a claim through another company. I would like to mention this to you as I feel customer service is the number one thing I look for when working with businesses. It has been a pleasure working with your team in Wasilla, Alaska and makes me wonder if I made the right choice switching.   Called the Wasilla Gieco Office, was sent to 4 agents who all said “The next agent you talk to can write a policy for you” then each agent I talked to took my information, then told me they cannot write a policy in Alaska. Pretty sketchy and poorly handled. Definitely canceling the policy I’ve had with Gieco for over the past year.

  Unfortunately, I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with GEICO. I have documentation showing that I reached out over 10 times trying to resolve an issue where they overcharged me by applying a higher premium due to someone who should’ve been removed from my policy. I provided proof that this individual was no longer on the policy, including their separate insurance information, yet GEICO continued to charge me as if they were still covered. Even after canceling my service, they are now back-charging me for that inflated premium—without properly acknowledging the evidence I submitted or the timeline in which the changes should have taken effect. The customer service has been disappointing and unhelpful throughout this process. I had high hopes, but this experience has been incredibly stressful. I do not recommend GEICO.
