  I canceled my policy months ago, after having it for 2 days because of a misunderstanding with my other insurance company. It took Geico's insurance people to reach out to me SIX MONTHS after the fact to say that I owed them money. I called to ask them why I got a bill and they said my renters policy was never canceled on their end. So now I need to waste my time go in there (physical office) give them these proves of information and sign paperwork for them AND if I wanted to have taken care of this six month after the fact, they needed 30 days, when I thought it was already canceled. The person who answered the phone, who I was curt with but certainly not rude, (to start with) just gave me all sorts of attitude rather than any sort of understanding or way to sort this out, blaming everything on some ridiculous policy. Terrible customer service, which is why I reached out to Geico ONLY in a moment of desperation. Never make that mistake again. Zero stars.

  I’ve been a GEICO member for over 10 years, but until recently I had never revisited my coverage. Life has changed a lot since I first signed up—I now have a partner and three children—and I realized my old policy was really only set up for me as an individual. What impressed me most was her ability to explain everything clearly and make sure I understood why certain adjustments were important—especially increasing medical and auto coverage now that I’m driving with my family. The best part? We were able to add better, more specific coverage while actually lowering my monthly cost by $72—that’s over $800 in yearly savings. I was honestly surprised to be getting more protection for less money. Chaila’s professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for her clients make her an incredible agent. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to review or improve their insurance coverage. She turned what I thought would be a stressful process into a smooth, positive experience.
