    What is the point of these guys even having a phone number? Over 10 minutes of auto mated messages and I still can’t get through to a person to ask a simple question. What a joke

    Perhaps TD was a good insurer years ago, but as it stands this company is utterly terrible if not outright insulting. Both the services themselves and the customer service delivering it is horrific, no, it's outright insulting the way they treat their loyal customers. They can and will treat you as if you're illiterate and unintelligent, and it is not just an one off instance with one rude agent. It is systematically ingrained in how their supervisors and management approach their jobs. Resource Manager Akelia Accra, Team Manager Carrie Moore, Senior Customer Complaints Intake Officer Vicky Plouffe, and Senior Customer Complaints Manager Rebecca Seaman were all very skilled at not answering questions, deflecting issues caused by TD Auto back at the customer, and in general wasting your time rather condescendingly. If nothing else, avoid them above all. When I first submitted my claim 9 months ago (Yes, this has been going on for 9 months.) TD Auto immediately undervalued my vehicle $5000 minimally, if not more through their third party valuation company, and wasted no time in hounding me to hand over my vehicle to their possession once they had written it off. Yet, they apparently lacked the time to give me the information on exactly what damages led to their conclusion. Thankfully, their third party auto shop didn't completely dismiss me. TD Auto was then provided with an extensive list of comparable listings from the used market all of the same make and model, along with extensive calculations verifying and proving the gross miscalculations of their valuation, none of which they read. Accusing me of providing them listings of different makes and models... What??? Not to mention the inconsistencies present in the valuations they will attempt to pass off as weighed in your favour. Of the four comparable vehicles they based their first valuation off of, only one had a listing that could be found and verified as legitimate. One of the comparable vehicles had double the mileage of my original vehicle, two had well over triple. How does anyone consider these to be fair and reasonable comparisons? Additionally, the odometer adjustments were inconsistent despite all four being of the same make and model. Three had odometer adjustments of 1.8 cents per KM, while the fourth which had the smallest gap in mileage compared to my vehicle, had an adjustment of only 1.1 cents per KM. Despite asking for their reasoning for this, TD Auto never provided an answer. That doesn't even account for how grossly cheap those adjustments are as 5.0 cents a KM is already quite conservative. Escalating my claim to management took over a week as management clearly had no desire to actually speak with me. Once on the phone, I was treated to nothing but condescension and empty words. I do not know if this treatment is standard or because they were discriminating against me based upon my age and gender. I asked them about this several times via email, not once did they ever acknowledge the question, let alone answer it. It would have been extremely easy to deny this accusation and assure me otherwise, but TD Auto never did. Silence, in situations such as this, speaks a thousand words. Ladies, if you find yourself in the situation I was in, please acquire the assistance of your father, male partner, or any other man in your life. They will take him more seriously than you, despite he not knowing a thing about vehicles. It's ridiculous. Every other person who I've spoken to about their claims with TD Auto have relayed the same experience with little difference. They can and will screw you out of thousands each and every time. If you're able, take your business anywhere else.

    They are scammers, trust me. There was hit and run case, there is scratch in my car and my left mirror glass is broken its been more than 3 months and they have not done anything about it, even after i provided all the evidence. It’s totally a scam.

    Terrible experience. I'm with TD, and I had to bring my truck in for a simple damaged bumper. Took 6 months for them to take my vehicle in, and 1 month to repair, going over what they said it would take. I get my truck back and there are huge rock chips in my windshield that weren't there at drop off, and because of whatever chemicals they sprayed in my vehicle ruined my visor. I spend long periods of time from away from my family, and I have a picture of my wife in my visor. The fumes from their detailing chemicals, or covid disinfectant caused the ink to come off the picture and stain the visor. After weeks of ignoring my phone calls, I go down there to ask them to fix damages. The manager/owner of the body shop, Mike was rude, condescending and refused to take accountability for the damage, replace / repair the visor. He flat out laughed at me. TD sided with the body shop, insuring there was no accountability. they offered me a $50 gift card for the "inconvenience", which won't even cover the gas I used to go to this shop 4 times. Well instead continuing to bleeding my wife and I dry for $3500 a year, we'll be finding coverage somewhere else. Should have paid the $55 for the visor replacement and removed the rock chips TD ;) That's bad accounting right there, maybe we should close our TD bank accounts too....
