  An Insurance company that owns the repair facility, poor repairs completed just so the insurance company can save money.

  Had my 2024 Rogue repaired here after it was hit by a truck. Unfortunately, the experience was not very good. I was promised a full detailing, but the job was poorly done — the car wasn’t even that dirty to begin with, yet it came back looking scuffed and unfinished. The body repair work also wasn’t up to standard. The Platinum AWD badge on the back was installed crooked, and the letter “P” from “Platinum” was missing, even though it was supposed to be supplied by Nissan. It would have made more sense to wait until the full set of letters arrived before installing them. I expected more attention to detail and quality from a body shop, especially for a newer vehicle like this.

  I went to this Auto Center several times over past years. The people at the center are nice. My complain is about TD claim advisors (there are not local at this center), they were not approachable and rarely return calls, they made repair decisions without letting me know, they delayed a payment for several weeks.

  I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with TD Insurance and their affiliated repair/rental service. My car was not at fault in an accident, and the other party’s insurance agreed to cover both the repair and rental costs. The repair was done at a TD Insurance-affiliated centre, and I was provided a rental while my car was being repaired. On Friday, I was contacted to pick up my vehicle. I informed them that I could only come on Monday. Due to an urgent matter on Monday, I wasn’t able to make it exactly at the scheduled time, so I called ahead to let them know and rescheduled for Tuesday. At no point during that call was I warned that the rental would no longer be covered if I didn’t pick up my car that day. When I arrived on Tuesday, I was shocked to find out I was being charged for the extra rental day. I spoke to Waleed Zafar, a Resource Officer who appeared to be in charge at the time. I explained the situation and asked for an exception, given the lack of communication and the fact that I had proactively rescheduled. He declined the request with zero empathy and did not acknowledge the fact that I was never informed about the rental coverage cutoff in the first place. This lack of transparency, poor communication, and refusal to take responsibility made an already stressful situation worse. It should not be my job to manage coordination between TD Insurance, the repair centre, and the rental agency — especially when I made every effort to stay in touch and act in good faith. Extremely disappointed by the way this was handled. I expected better service and basic empathy from a major insurance provider.
