Our experience was fantastic. The crew was here as scheduled, did all the work that was talked about and the clean up was great. We were kept informed when each area was completed and asked if we were pleased. Fantastic group to work with in all facets of the process.

I waited a while, a few months, before giving a review in order to get over being PO'd. You have to be very careful with this company. You tell them what you want and then at the end of the interview, he summarized what was to be done. Taking pictures of my trees and then writing up a description of work. I wanted the dead branches removed, he highlighted the trees up only part way to the top and stated removal of dead branches but he didn't state not all the way up the tree or what the highlighting meant on the pictures. He said they were going to use a lift and a permanent bird feeder was in the way, it was anchored in cement, so I cut it out but they didn't use a lift so I removed the pole out of the cement and I didn't need to. I asked to remove a branch that I asked for to be removed but it didn't make the quote so they wanted $300 extra. It was a small branch but he said it was setup time. Well if they used the lift like they said, setup time would have been zero. They sent 4 people and the last hour they were there, 2 workers just stood there as we all watched the other 2 work. It was a low branch and it could have been taken care of in 15 minutes. I meet these workers doing work for a customer down the street and that is where they went after my house. Talking to one of the workers, apparently they weren't happy with how there trees turned out. They didn't call the day the work was done, they just showed up no notice. Then anything I asked cost more money. If you hire them you must read the narrative of work to be performed and they will use terms you're probably not familiar with so you might need them to spell out exactly, in plain language, what is to be done. Anything not listed will cost you more money and it will be a lot more money. They paraphrased what I asked for and it didn't exactly match what I wanted. It wasn't cheap. Four guys for 4 hours was $2800. But half the time 3 of them were standing around waiting .

Can I give less than 1 star? This company put a flyer in OUR mailbox, soliciting work. We called them and they made an appt to come out and give us a quote. Chad showed up 2 hours late. However, Chad's knowledge and quote seemed solid. My husband called them back 3 times, trying to talk to them to schedule the work and ask a couple of additional questions, with no one calling back. By the 3rd time, my admittedly not-so-patient husband, got a little snippy with the receptionist (no, I don't condone this and told him it was not professional) because he couldn't get anyone (i.e. Chad) to call him back. When Chad finally called him back, my husband was chastised for being rude to their receptionist (probably somewhat warranted), but then it seemed fine -- apologies were issued, questions were asked and answered, and a new quote was sent. We then decided what work we could afford to move forward with, sent them a note saying what work we wanted to have done, along with a check for 1/2 of the total quote, via snail mail, as requested. Two weeks later, our note and check were returned to us, with their own note, saying they were 'withdrawing' from the project, as they felt it wasn't a 'good fit for the both of us'. I think this was the result of the fact the job was 'too small' to be worth their while, they are now 'too busy' and I'm sure, the fact that my husband was impatient and rude to the receptionist. I guess my biggest gripe is that THEY came to OUR neighborhood soliciting work. THEY were late for the appointment. THEY didn't return phone calls in a timely manner. Again, I'm not excusing my husband's behavior, however -- if you have a business, you have to be ready to deal with all different types of personalities. My husband apologized. Now, where we had budgeted and thought we were having specific work done, we must find someone else. If you don't want the business, then stop putting fliers in people's mailboxes. Maybe it's for the best -- they probably wouldn't have shown up on time for the job anyway.
