  I've been using Century 21 Self Storage in Lakewood Washington for well over 5 years now. I can get to my storage unit as late as 10pm at night. It's close to JBLM(Joint Bases Lewis and McCord) and in between two freeway exits. The well known I-5 freeway, from the State of Washington, through Oregon and yep, even California. The perfect location to store years and even decades of memories. Smaller to larger units are available to choose from. This facility is equipped with an on-site clean restroom, with guess what? A mirror, a clear mirror with no graffiti. LOL! It's true though. Personalized coded gate entry and 24 hour surveillance, covering units and entire lot. If you're looking for a safe place to store your belongings, this is the place. The staff is awesome and are very kind when answering their phones during business. This place is kept clean, including the landscape. It's a great storage place and I recommend it 100%. Try Century 21 Self Storage 1st. You won't regret it. Military personnel? Here's your answer.   Had a rocky start with my move in, I had gotten a messed up lock, they provide locks and keys for clients, this is not optional, anyway, my key got stuck in the lock in the locked door, unfortunately I still had things I needed to store but improvised a short term remedy. I had to leave the facility with my key stuck in the lock and it just so happened to be the day the on site employee was helping a relative move. Everything got fixed with the key the next morning and all my interactions with this business since have been satisfactory.

  I have used this facility for more than 3 years continuously and have never had a single issue with them. The employees are very professional, the storage is secure and accessible, there are very clean restroom and the prices are great for the area. I once accidentally dropped my license and wallet into the payment slot after hours and spent 45 minutes fishing said items back out with a coat hangar in plain view of the security camera. Got a lot of weird looks from people but there was no after-hours emergency number posted so I left 4 voicemails on the office phone, explaining the situation since they review the tapes every morning. They called me back at 9am to clarify the situation and let me know that they weren't mad about it. I really appreciated their understanding. I would recommend an after-hours emergency phone number be posted. Factors to consider: This is borderline covered outdoor storage. The units are fully enclosed and covered and in a building, but there is no apparent insulation, neither do they offer humidity/temperature control. I would not store anything here that could mold/rot unless it were in an airtight container. I did store a wooden table and a saddle in my unit for 2 years with no issue aside from some very light mold on the saddle's seat, but it is Washington so be mindful of the climate. My bedding and comforters, which were stored in a sealed Tuff box, came out as fresh as the day I put them in. Nighttime access is currently not an option. This has pros and cons. The gate locks at 10pm. Prices are rock-steady with an option for recurring email reminders and paperless billing. Auto pay is also an option. I keep traps and mothballs in my unit, and all my stuff is on a raised pallet. In 3 years I've caught 1 tiny mouse and maybe a handful of bugs. Nothing crazy and never any damage to any of my things. This is an incredibly low number compared to other facilities I have used. This facility offers P.O. Boxes with 24-hour access.
