Will never be purchasing from RH/RH outlet outside of this collection after the condescending interaction with the store manager Genevieve, who knows no customer service and is so condescending she’s turned us completely away from this company.
Side note, Ryan at the Portland store is a gem and what store relations are built upon, maybe Genevieve could learn a thing or two from him. Drive down to Portland and skip this store.
We purchased a nightstand, bed frame and sideboard from this store. They told as at that time that we could join their wishlist to see if another nightstand pops up and they'd call us. They said it's a popular collection and pieces often come up. If they hadn't offered this, we had already decided we'd be okay purchasing one full price. But we thought we'd wait to see.
Months went by and we didn't hear anything so we took it upon ourselves to order a nightstand from RH (not outlet) and complete the set. That is when we find out the collection has been discontinued in that color.
I called this store and first was unhappy that they made all these promises and didn't have a system in place to contact all these wishlist-ers they promised pieces to but also to work on a solution. They told me to buy a nightstand in a different height and end up with two different sized nightstands?? (felt like they were pushing a sale, yuck) and I had to push back multiple times saying it was not a real solution. They also told me I could call Portland which was the only solution they provided (outside of staying on the waitlist).
When i called Portland RH Outlet, the person there was very understand and actually provided a solution! They had two nightstands in Portland of a different height I could come pick up if Bellevue offered an exchange for that one nightstand I had already purchased.
Sooooo, after spending all of this time i had a solution and all it would take it manager's discretion. Upon speaking to the Bellevue store manager, Genevieve, I can confirm what all the other reviews say about her. She's incredibly condescending. Of the multiple condescending comments, the most laughable was how in "good conscience" she couldn't accept a return of a final sale product after "so long". It took "so long" because we were waiting on YOUR STORE to contact us like you had made seem was such a sure fire thing in order to make the sale. Maybe use your "good conscience" to train your employees to not misrepresent to just make a sale!! We would've literally purchased a full price nightstand at that time if the employees here hadn’t been so assuring that a piece would just magically pop up. Now looking back maybe it’s so they can secure additional sales and not lose them to RH, because it’s clearly not about the customer. If it was they could’ve easily seen discontinued products and sent a courtesy email to those on the list. You know, a customer service type thing to do.
This is a problem that is SOLVABLE and we were willing to spend money and time, including going down to Portland to get the new set. But this manager clearly doesn't want to provide any customer service and enjoys talking down to people. Which, hint to you folks at RH outlet, customer service is expected at this price point. Even at the outlet as Genevieve clearly tried to *remind* me that it was outlet and I shouldn’t expect so much. Only thing that felt outlet in this entire experience was Genevieve and her attitude.
Even IKEA treats you with better dignity and service than this nonsense.
Outside waiting for that nightstand to pop up, I cannot in *good conscience* step in to make purchase at this store again. We just bought a house, it needs to be furnished but not an item more will be from here. I’ll take the money hit on this piece but will gladly take my purchases to a store that can provide service. What a joke.
Quite a fraudulent store. We bought a bed for $2575 because they told us it was 50-60% off the retail price. They quoted me $6,440 as retail price. I then confirmed before checkout that it was $6,440 at retail. I was excited that I got 60% off. I accepted it with major damage because I said oh for 3000+ I can deal with some chipping. But then when I got home - and asked for the model to buy a repair kit. I found the bed online for $2900. So for $325 they convinced me to take a damaged bed with scratches. I tried calling and explaining the fraud but they stand by their decision. Genevieve and Saddie I believe are the store members who helped. They were very nice at the time, but I feel this is fraudulent. If you do shop there / confirm the price yourself. They now say this is discontinued and that’s why they quoted me this price but the same bed with slightly different fabric and every other combination is still that same $2900 range. Rant over.

The staff at the RH Outlet in Bellevue are amazing — friendly, professional, and quick to help. I’ve bought from both the regular RH store and the outlet, and I actually prefer the outlet experience. No wait time for furniture, no membership fee for discounts, and the service is excellent. The delivery partner InMove was also great to work with. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience!

We’ve been loyal RH and RH Outlet customers for years across California, Oregon, Maryland, Canada, and now Washington. Normally the service reflects the brand’s luxury reputation: professional, accommodating, and relationship-focused.
Unfortunately, our recent visit to the Bellevue RH Outlet fell far short. My wife and I inquired about a fireplace piece that has been on the floor for months, recognizable by its chip and mismatched top. The associate who helped us, likely a manager with dark medium-length hair and Caucasian, was dismissive and unprofessional. When we politely asked if there might be any additional consideration on price, she insisted it hadn’t been there long and said pricing is based on “demand.” When I noted that other managers in the past had worked with us on long-standing or damaged pieces, her exact response was, “That’s the reason they’re not here anymore.”
That comment was unnecessary and insulting. A simple “Sorry, that’s not our policy anymore” would have sufficed. Instead, the conversation ended abruptly without even a courteous close, leaving us feeling unwelcome. The impression was clear: if you aren’t buying immediately, your time isn’t worth their attention.
For a brand that positions itself as luxury, this behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on RH.

Outstanding Customer Service – Thank You Jenevieve, Sadie & Team!
I had a recent experience with the RH Outlet in Bellevue that left me incredibly impressed and grateful. What began as a small disappointment turned into a perfect example of how customer service should be handled — with empathy, professionalism, and true care.
Jenevieve, Sadie, and the entire team showed genuine understanding, kindness, and readiness to help me resolve a color mismatch issue with a pair of chairs I had purchased. They took the time to review the situation thoughtfully and worked with me toward a solution that exceeded my expectations, all while honoring RH’s values and policies.
Their responsiveness, clear communication, and grace turned what could’ve been a frustrating experience into a positive one. I truly felt heard and respected throughout the process.
This is the kind of service that builds long-term customer relationships, and I’m excited to continue furnishing my home with RH knowing I’m supported by such a thoughtful team.
Thank you all so much!
