  My Rug Transformation: I obtained a Vintage Persian rug at an estate auction that was obviously never cleaned. It was quite dirty, with dull and lifeless colors. I took it into Shirvan Rug Gallery, hoping for a significant improvement, and I definitely wasn't let down. I was absolutely amazed by the results; the muted, subtle colors I thought were just part of its age are now incredibly vibrant. Plus, the carpet is wonderfully soft to the touch, a huge difference from its original stiff feel. What truly rounded out my experience were the welcoming and knowledgeable proprietors. Their store wasn't just a drop-off point; it was a fascinating space with unique rugs, other intriguing finds, and a captivating display of uniquely crafted Nazar amulets. It was a pleasure from start to finish, and I highly recommend Shirvan Rug Gallery

  I have bought a few contemporary and antique rugs from Adem and Birgul Solak of Shirvan over the past 13 years. Their personal attention and integrity keeps me coming back. Plus, Adem comes from a long line of rug merchants and really knows his stuff! BTW, for some reason I had someone else on Bainbridge clean my rugs this summer. Big mistake. I had to have Shirvan clean them ALL again. They are the only people I will let touch my rugs in the future.

  A warm inviting store with gorgeous rugs from Turkey, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iran/Persia. 48 years experience in the Oriental rug business, and they do expert repair and cleaning. Imported Turkish jewelry sold as well.
