  We couldn’t be happier with our experience! From start to finish, this landscaping company has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and knowledge of plant care truly set them apart. Our yard has never looked better. They quickly identified issues with our boxwoods and treated them effectively, recommended thoughtful changes to our layout—moving some of our landscaping from the front to the back, to give our evergreens and hydrangeas the space they needed to thrive, and even treated a grass fungus we hadn’t been able to get rid of this year. Every recommendation they made was spot on, and the results speak for themselves. The transformation has been incredible. There’s no request too big or too small, they approach every task with the same care and commitment to excellence. We’ve worked with landscapers in several regions, and I can confidently say they’re the best in Northern Virginia—rivaling top companies in the Hamptons and Winter Park, FL. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Our property has truly never looked more beautiful!

  We could not be happier with our experience working with the team at Colao & Peter. From the very first meeting, it was clear they were operating at a different level than the other firms we interviewed. JR, Zac, Bill, and the entire team were incredible to work with. They were professional, creative, and extremely communicative throughout the entire process. They brought thoughtful, unique ideas to the table and shared opinions on what would look and function best, which we really appreciated. The result was an amazing new backyard for us. Every member of their team, from the designers to the construction crew, was outstanding. The construction team was friendly, respectful, and excellent at their craft. They also went above and beyond to keep the site organized, cleaning up every single day to minimize the disruption that comes with a large project. In the end, we got everything we hoped for and more. I have already recommended Colao & Peter to friends and will continue to do so without hesitation. If you are considering any kind of outdoor project such as a pool, deck, landscaping, or outdoor kitchen, this is the team you want to work with.   We had a fantastic experience with Colao & Peter! They do gorgeous work and we couldn't be happier. We were so impressed with their attention to detail, creativity, innovative solutions to challenges presented by our small yard, and their commitment to making sure we were happy throughout the process. They are exceptionally good at project management and communication, which can be huge problems with home improvement projects. The entire team was great to work with; I would recommend Colao & Peter without hesitation.
