The reason I gave the 3 rating is because whatever agent they are using now is not providing protection for my home. My housekeeper was out just before Greg (the Aptive technician) came and they took pictures of all the bugs they found in the house while cleaning and I showed them to Greg. I also shared with Greg that everyday I see at least one or two bugs in my home that I have to kill. Different types of bugs -spiders, big black water bugs, what looked like a scorpion to me, etc. I had to kill a spider this morning and some kind of small bug on my counter top. Aptive had to come out twice around the August/September 2025 timeframe to get rid of ants. I have to inform my guests of the possibility that they might see bugs, and that’s embarrassing. I’ve been with Aptive at least a couple years now so I beginning to feel like it is time for me to try another company. All the technicians have been nice and professional, it’s just that the product or the application, one or the other or both, isn’t working.

I have caught them twice just grabbing their spray can from their car and filling it up with water from my garden hose and they proceed to spray the exterior. Never poured any type of solution in with the water. I have called for retreaments more times than I care to remember to treat the spiders and ear wigs and to no avail. Had better luck spraying with the insecticide I bought of Amazon than dealing with aptive. Would love to hear if anyone else has had the same expired with seeing them on camera just feeling up their sprayers with water... they charged me $136 just to spray the outside with water!
- TOTuukka OksanenNov 15, 20251.0I signed up for a 24-month contract with Aptive earlier this year. They cancelled all (3) appointments I made which the agreement gave me the right to. I notified them that this is a breach of contract and cancels the agreement after which they agreed to cancel the contract voluntarily. Then they took me to collections claiming I owed them a cancellation fee. Stay away from this company as best as you can. The service is dreadful and the company practices even worse.
