The manager here Andy was completely rude to me when I called asking to return my bed after less than one week. He stated they don’t take back used furniture and asked me not sleep on the mattress anymore until they came to got it. He got extremely hateful when I told my friend that it was bs that they don’t take furniture back and I asked him what does he do when someone doesn’t make a payment? He couldn’t answer me… I read the terms which plainly states if I decide to terminate an agreement I am allowed to and brought both items back… Aaron’s in Athens TN you have lost my business… seems like you need a new general manager from I’ve been reading!

I have only returned one item to ARRONS. Just because we decided we didn't want it anymore. Leaven me with 1400$ leasing power, however I have bought a couch in fact, I bought two couches formally. You know what else, I bought a PlayStation 5, I've bought and paid in full for two sets of , washer and dryers, I bought a stove. I owe them nothing in fact they owe me $1,400 in leasing power, that I've made payments towards to go towards something else. I have been at the Dayton TN location, and ATHENS. A few weeks ago I started getting harassed by them because I paid off my final purchase there they said they would give me a couch take off how much payments I made and hope the girl up with a discount for being such a loyal customer. Grateful for the opportunity to not waste my money, I ordered a couch 3 weeks ago. We made the choice to upgrade our couch because of my mom, I ordered this couch because it has a pull out bed in it for my mother to sleep in when she stays with me. I got a call this morning after my couch was gone and everything else saying not only did they order the wrong thing, they didn't even listen to what I told them I wanted and needed. Now they have to order it and it's going to be 6 to 9 weeks before I get it. The manager absolutely acted like he did nothing wrong, ASKED ME WHY I GOT RID OF MY COUCH BEFORE WE SET A DATE DESPITE THEM SAYING 2/3 WEEKS 3 WEEKS AGO, and it's my fault. He was rude and disrespectful his name is Andy and I am completely and utterly appalled at the disrespect this company has given me after all I have given for them. I have supported them, I have bragged on them, I have sent people there, And they still disrespect me the way they do and I am so over it. I asked the manager to give me his manager and he laughed and was like it'll be here in 6 to 9 weeks and basically just got off the phone with me and told me to have a great day very disrespectfully. I am so done. AARONS YOUR COMPANY LOOKS AWFUL BECAUSE OF THE EMPLOYEES YOU CHOOSE!

I usually do not write a couple of reviews, but I really insisted on posting this one. Let me tell you. This business is not compassionate with their customers. I had spoken to the manager about why my agreement got canceled when they were about to deliver the bikes. I was going to rent some bikes from them about a week ago, and as soon as they got to my house, they canceled the agreement. I called the manager to see why the agreement had been canceled. And he told me that my autopay did not go through on its expected date, which is before July 4th and I had told him there was an issue in my bank. And I was going to make a payment to them The following Monday Around lunchtime, he told me that you only get one shot at making a payment. If you miss it, they will drop you. He was very rude and disrespectful to me over the phone Did not, he was not professional. He was not wanting to work with me, even though I told him I was willing to work and see what I could do to Make the agreement possible and without letting me know, they drop the agreement and uh tell me to basically get lost.

Absolutely disgusted with the lack of compassion and customer service at Aaron’s. Our business had an emergency when our air conditioning went out during extreme heat. Corporate approved us to rent a portable AC unit to help keep our employees and customers safe. After calling every rental place in town, Aaron’s was the ONLY one that had a unit available. To make it worse, the unit they had was a previously leased, pre-owned model—not even brand new. I explained the situation, made it clear this was an urgent, short-term need, and was told it would be “up to the manager.” The manager refused to even come out and speak with us. Instead, we were quickly told there was no option for short-term rental, and we’d have to sign a 6-month contract for a used piece of equipment. No flexibility, no concern, and no willingness to help a fellow local business in crisis. For a company that claims to serve the community, this was a complete failure. I will be telling every friend, customer, and business owner I know to avoid Aaron’s at all costs. Shame on you, Aaron’s.
