Went to purchase some products, got up front and all they had were self checkouts. Left the stuff and walked out. I can use them, I flatly refuse to use them as they take away people's jobs.

Went in for painting supplies. Walked away with nothing but a headache! 3… 3 separate employees could not help me to find a sanding block to go with the sandpaper. First two didn’t know what I was talking about, 3rd took me to sandpaper, which seems like the logical place to put a sanding block, but alas I had my limit and put everything down and went to Home Depot

This is a shout out to Everett. It was a fantastic customer experience. I went to ask about nails and scrap wood and he was kind, helpful and with me until I got what I needed. In this day when people don't indulge customers for the bare minimum, he went out of his way to find what I need and did not just pass me on to another support person. Loved the support. I am a regular at Rona so this was a fantastic experience. Kudos to Everett at Rona Saskatoon East on Preston!!!

We are extremely disappointed with Rona’s business practices and staff. I felt we had the worse customer service from such a reputable company.
There was a light fixture on sale (clearance), that we liked so we went and inspected it at the store. It appeared in good shape as it was an open box. So we bought it.
Our home builder and electrician told us they can’t install it on our new home build - as it was previously altered.
Rona didn’t disclose any of this - we even looked at the wires and asked questions, and thought it should be fine but “someone” recut the wires so it looked like it hadn’t been installed. But we didn’t know that until after.
This feels extremely deceptive, not to mention we had to argue with there customer service to get our money back on our visa and not a gift card, also why we know love going to Warman Homes!!!!! They have Great Customer Service. I can see why our home builder got the majority of our home material from them. Easy to deal with.
The lack of accountability portrayed by Rona for misrepresenting a resalable product is extremely frustrating.

Went to buy tiles for backslash. The price tag said $13.33 each. I picked up 10 pieces. At checkout, the price became $16.50. A supervisor came and said the price tag was wrong. He said he could do me a favor to buy one piece at $13.33, the rest would be $16.50 each. Do me a favor? I am doing you a favor to do business with you! Very disappointed. End up buying the tiles at other store.

How do I know if my order is ready to be picked up?
When you order online, choose the option “Pick-up in store“ at checkout. You will receive an email confirming that your order is ready. Use the Pick-Up Scheduler to select the time slot that suits you. Park in one of the designated Curbside Pick-up spots, call the store, and an associate will bring your order to your vehicle. Yes, we offer a delivery service. All products can be shipped by parcel their delivery is free with any $49 and more purchase. Is my online order confirmation page considered an official receipt?
No, your official sales receipt will be given to you when you complete the transaction at the store where you pick up your items. When will my online payment be processed?
Upon confirmation of your order, we will validate the credit card you used. The payment will automatically be charged to your card when the transaction is completed online.
How much time will it take to process my order?
Most of the products you can purchase online are available within 2 hours of placing your order. You can check the final processing time for your order at the top of your shopping cart page. Can I rent a truck at this location?
Yes. We offer truck rentals at this location. To reserve a truck, please contact the store directly. Availability may be limited, especially during peak seasons, so we recommend calling ahead to confirm before visiting.
How do I know that truck/van is available for rental at RONA location?
If you see a truck or van parked at the store, that’s the first sign that it’s available for rent. To save yourself a trip, you can call the RONA store’s customer service desk ahead of time to confirm availability. Rentals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I qualify for the vehicle rental?
To rent a vehicle, you must:
> Be at least 21 years old
> Hold a valid full driver’s license (not a graduated license)
> Provide proof of insurance in your name
> Present a major credit card
NOTE: For the Province of Saskatchewan, the customer must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license.
Do RONA charge deposit for the truck/van rental?
A deposit of $500 for all rentals will be charged before we rent the van to a valid credit card. After inspection deposit will be refunded less the rental fee when customer return the van/truck.
How do I pay for the truck/van rental?
We accept all major credit cards.
Please note that cash, checks, gift cards, money orders, or prepaid visa cards are NOT accepted as payment for vehicle rentals. Store associates do not receive discounts on truck rentals and are charged the same rental fee as the customer.
Do RONA offer insurance for the vehicle rental?
At this time, RONA does not provide rental insurance. You’ll need to use your own liability insurance that covers non-owned vehicle rentals. Please make sure the proof of insurance is under the renter’s name.
What is your return policy for truck / van rental?
Returns are simple! When you bring back the vehicle, we’ll do a quick walkaround inspection and check the fuel gauge. As long as the vehicle is in the same condition and fuel level as when you rented it, you’re good to go.
