We like it very much, but our five star rating is given because of the great customer service Jess gave us. When we left the store, we learned more about motion sofas and chairs than we ever thought we needed to know and what to consider when purchasing. If you are looking for traditional, overstuffed recliners and reclining sofas, this is the store for you. However we changed our minds on what we wanted - a matching reclining sofa and stationary loveseat - and were able to find that unicorn online. Were the brand available at Hakes, we would have purchased from there, even incurring a delivery fee to Gettysburg because we thought their customer service was first rate and rarely found in stores today.

The sales person was helpful and knowledgeable as well as being a friendly person. The delivery men were right on time. They were courteous and friendly. They were very helpful in placing the box spring and mattress in place. They also placed the old mattress and box spring out at the curbside for trash pick up.

Jessica took the time to help us pick the finish on the side table we picked. Her input was very helpful. With the attention we received, you would have thought we were by an entire room. Charlie would’ve been thrilled with his legacy living on.
