I brought a basic secondhand Singer and a complicated, vintage, super heavy Dressmaker here, and both were serviced impeccably and at a great price. I'm a casual sewer, and he treated me with respect and showed me lots of features of my machines. Jack is kind, super honest, and takes pride in his work. He's truly a part of the Philly community!

Jack not only picked it up from my place in Fairmount and returned it but he search all over for the belt that was very difficult to find. Him and his partner are the lovliest people and I'm so happy to have a place that repairs vacuums instead of throwing this one away. Price was more than fair for all the work they did. Highly recommended!

If u go here to get your sewing machine fixed don’t leave it longer than 5-6 days there they will keep it and basically say u took to long to come back. BIGGEST SCAM! They made it seem like o we gotchu just come back and it will b done! I called back no longer than 6 days and they said they no longer had my sewing machine. Instead of raising hell i let the owner and his wife just keep it because they’re clearly struggling bad to be scamming ppl like this. Should really b ashamed of yourself and I pray to god your business folds and if u deicide to pass it down to your kids I hope they fail to for the sins of their parents!
