- RJRita JohnsonNov 14, 20255.0Absolutely-unbelievable-amazing work that Brad, Justus, John & Jeff did on building the wall, laying erosion netting & planting junipers then mulch on the incredibly steep hill behind my house this past week of Nov. 10-12. It was so cold, windy and snowing but those men did not stop. Tuma was recommended by a neighbor and she was correct. They are such a reputable company that has been in the area for decades. I am new to the area and so happy I found them. And if you able, it is always a good idea to cook for the people who work so hard for you whether it is cold or hot outside. They are very appreciative but then so are we as consumers for something that adds beauty, value and eliminates backbreaking work at our homes.

I was on their schedule for grass cutting, leaf removal etc. I always tried to be a good customer for them. This letter I just received has “punched me in the gut”. In addition; I paid a lot of money for landscaping, which included, unfortunately, the planting of sickly plants. Repeated attempts to nicely get this corrected, have gone unresolved! I recently received some bids from Wade Tuma for the planting of pine trees, redoing my patio, etc. He and I talked and, finally, I felt like my landscaping issues and problems would be taken care of. I thought that Tuma would stand behind their work and replace the sickly plants and move the pine tree for me. Apparently, this wasn’t the case! I received a letter yesterday from Cheri, the office manager, that I was being dropped as a customer! They are blaming it on a “labor shortage”. If this is true, then why are they still on Angie’s List, advertising for more customers?! Up until yesterday, my review would have been good. Now, if I could give zero or negative stars; I would! A reputable company doesn’t treat loyal customers this way! Now, the landscaping I need done and the lawn care will have to go to someone else. Looking for a reliable lawn care company!
